Hello everyone,
The patch for version 1.5.3.9 is going to be released within the next few days (I can't give an exact date yet).
It will bring mostly new features in favour of RP. There will be ways to do global votings through the voting system. This will be used to move the senator elections from the forums to the game.
Furthermore, the senate will become an official institution. They can use the voting system to make their decisions official and visible to the public. Only senators will be able to cast their votes on such ballots.
Also, senators will receive a new Dominion icon that will be displayed when you look at them. This will make it easier for the Senate security to identify Senators as such and let them pass through to the Senate halls.
We're currently concentrating a lot on improving the RP and story (as you could read in our last development update about the NPC system) in FoM. While player control is great, to make things more interesting in the long run, role-playing is a key factor and we would like to improve that, especially since FoM has always had great potential for role-playing. And we all know that by role-playing we don't mean levelling up stats (as the current game industry dictates), but playing in-character and interacting with other players in that way.
