Part 24
This week has seen further enhancements to the weapons and combat system as well as some other general revisions.
Weapons and Combat:
To allow more of a natural feel to the fighting system, a couple of changes have been implemented. For example – in a fight, if you are hit, your cone of fire increases, allowing for the loss of control that this situation would cause.
For similar reasons the camera shake (when getting hit) has now been scaled according to the damage done. Therefore the higher the damage, the more shake you will receive whilst smaller damages will cause more of a subtle movement. Connected to this, it should be noted that an increase of COF now also occurs when you are hit or you lose health by other means (such as fall damage). This all adds to the game play, ensuring that it seems more realistic.
In another attempt to create more realistic fighting, the automatic aim-down of weapons has been disabled. This means that you now have full control over use of the scope and it will only shift modes when you choose it to.
One of the weapon stats, “Handling”, was also re-worked: 100% (aka ‘Normal’) means the current amount of COF as you know it. Lower values - ‘Easy’ (Medigun) and ‘Very Easy’ (Knife, Tazer, Explosives) mean there is a smaller COF and higher (‘Difficult’ and ‘Very Hard’) values of handling mean that there will be a bigger COF.
General Revisions:
The medical terminals within the game have had some alterations. All treatments and now obtained a fixed price per full treatment. This means that it does not matter whether your health or other stats are half-healed, you will still pay for restoring all stats to the maximum level.

Nano Surgery: Health to 80%, Consciousness to 100% and Stamina to 100% - Heals 4% per second - Price 50 UC
Passive Treatment: Health to 80% and to Consciousness 100% - Heals 2% per second - Price 35 UC
Stamina refreshment: Stamina to 100% and Consciousness to 100% - Heals 10% per second - Price 20 UC

We (DPS and GM) also had a meeting with most of the faction leaders to discuss some topics. It turned out to be a very good and productive meeting. Thanks to everyone for attending!
